SHANE LEONARD
Snowfall, 2a.m., Intersection Of Lincoln & Wilson
to meet in mid-air may seem unlikely
consider the scene:
billions of earthbound bodies all
falling
flitting within inches'
avoidance of each other
caught in precarious balance between
the swirling self the confused movement of the masses
the sudden softness of landing
plumes of powder
eventually
floating and
falling again
but always to flow in that cloak together
in unison amidst chaos and calm.
